The City of Watkins is a Plan A statutory city.  The governing body of the City consists of a Mayor and four Councilpersons.  The City Council meets regularly on the second Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. May through October and at 6 p.m. November through April at City Hall.  Special Meetings are called when necessitated.  The current members of the City Council are:
